A commentary on changes to Christ’s teachings to conform to modern society
Change occurred in the choice made by Adam and Eve. They chose to join what they believed was the position of power and godly knowledge.
Change occurred when Judas decided to betray Jesus. He chose to join the side of the Pharisees.
In most cases, such choices to join one over another are decided upon what is more rewarding personally rather than spiritually, especially when it comes to choosing that which provides the greater comfort or convenience in this life.
The fact is, we are all born of free will and through that freedom we choose, take sides, or “join” with many things, not all of which serve to our best interests.
The Teachings of Jesus Christ in His True Church Body can never change and if such teachings do change, it can not be the Church/faith/denomination founded by Jesus Christ with His Blood.
Realizing that all reformation born faiths claim to be of the truth yet so diverse in beliefs, which of these faiths has the truly accurate and complete teachings of Christ? Which ever one you say, you should be able to verify it considering there is a lineage of 2000 years historically between now and that time Jesus established His Church. And let us not forget that the original Church consisted of one Teacher, Jesus, and His Body, being His 12 disciples, later becoming His apostles. Surely the true and full teachings of Christ can be verified through the ancient writings of the Apostolic Fathers who were deeply involved in the culmination of what every Christian faith refers to as the Holy Bible, regardless of the version of interpretation.
A profound litmus test that devours the validity of any faith born of the reformation attested to by the multitude of denominations it has generated:
1 Corinthians CH1; 10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no schisms among you; but that you be perfect in the same mind, and in the same judgment.
Which denomination can with credibility and its historic lineage proclaim its existence as originated 2000 years ago in the Word of Jesus Christ and through to this day teaches Christ’s Word with consistency proven since the first century regardless of society’s “popular opinion? Only one, The Universal Catholic Church.
Some things cannot change and retain their Truth such as the Word of God.
